203 School Bus Violations Booked in Udupi's Safety Drive

Police in Udupi County announced that 203 cases have been booked after a comprehensive school vehicle safety drive that inspected more than 30 school buses across the district.
During the inspection, authorities found widespread violations such as excessive speeding, overloading of students, missing seat belts and absent fire extinguishers. The drive, which was part of the annual safety campaign, examined vehicles from 15 schools and 20 private transport operators.
