24 Rajasthan Hospitals Fined ₹3 Cr, 48 Suspended from RGHS Scheme

The Rajasthan government has fined 24 private hospitals a cumulative ₹3 crore and suspended 48 others from the state’s flagship RGHS scheme, officials said on Tuesday.

Under the RGHS program, hospitals must meet strict licensing, staffing and procedural standards—failures such as invalid licences, improper patient record‑keeping and substandard facility conditions were cited as reasons for the penalties.

Health‑care providers in the affected districts are expected to rectify deficiencies to regain eligibility, while patients with ongoing treatments are advised to seek alternative facilities to avoid disruptions.
