26 Arrested During Illegal Gambling Raid at Udupi Resort

Police arrested 26 individuals for running an illegal gambling house at the Shanti Paradise Resort on Friday evening. According to the Uttar Karnataka Police, the crackdown involved raids on the premises between 9 p.m. and midnight.
The resort, located near Ukkaigundi in Udupi district, has been linked to multiple cases of illicit betting. Authorities seized a stock of gambling chips, betting slips and electronic devices used for wagering. The operation was carried out under Section 200 of the Karnataka Prevention of Illegal and Unlicensed Gambling Act.
