6 Udupi Highway Locations Now Equipped with Speed Radar Cameras

Udupi police announced that speed radar cameras are now fully operational at six key points along the district’s highways. The new system will automatically record vehicles exceeding the speed limit and issue penalties in real time.

The cameras, installed at Thokur, Shringeri, Udipi, Sahil, Kadyrabeda, and Bavoor, were part of a broader initiative to enhance road traffic safety across Karnataka. Each unit is connected to the traffic control center for instant verification and ticketing.
