65,401 children in Udupi to receive polio drops on June 28

On June 28, the Udupi district health department will administer polio vaccines to 65,401 children aged six months to five years as part of a statewide immunisation drive.

The initiative comes amid heightened efforts to eliminate polio in Karnataka, with the state government collaborating with national health agencies to ensure all children receive the oral polio vaccine (OPV) during the mass immunisation outreach.
