65,401 Udupi Children to Receive Polio Vaccination on June 28

The Udupi district administration has scheduled a mass immunisation drive on June 28, during which 65,401 children across the district will receive oral polio vaccine drops.

India’s polio eradication programme has maintained high vaccination coverage for over a decade, and Karnataka has consistently reported near‑100% coverage in routine immunisations. The drive will be conducted at district health centres, sub‑centres and mobile clinics to ensure every child receives the dose.
