7 Children Injured After School Bus Overturns Into Ditch Near Manipal

On Sunday afternoon, a school bus carrying junior students from a local school was involved in a serious accident near Manipal town when it overturned into a ditch, injuring seven children.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. as the vehicle was traveling on a narrow, winding road that services the educational institutions of the region. According to eyewitnesses, the bus suddenly lost control before colliding with a hedge, then rolling into the ditch. Police cordoned the area and paramedics rushed the injured students to the nearest hospital for treatment.
All seven children are reported to have sustained bruises and minor fractures, and are currently in stable condition after receiving medical care.
