Ambalpady Overpass in Udupi Fully Open, Enhancing Traffic Flow

The Ambalpady overpass on the Mysore–Udupi road has officially opened to traffic, marking the completion of a key infrastructure project aimed at reducing congestion in the region.

Constructed over a stretch of the busy Mysore highway, the overpass was designed to provide a safer and faster route for vehicles traveling between Udupi and the surrounding districts. Work began in early 2023, and after extensive construction and safety checks, the structure was cleared for public use on Saturday. Officials highlighted that the new overpass will alleviate bottlenecks during peak hours and improve connectivity for commuters and freight transport.
