Bengaluru Arrest in Mysterious Goan Death Involving Udupi Entrepreneur

On June 27, 2024, police in Bengaluru arrested Shruthi Rao, identified by authorities as a close associate of Udupi entrepreneur Aravind Kumar, in connection with a murder that took place in Goa the previous month.
Aravind Kumar, who runs a beverage import business and owns several hotels in Udupi, allegedly had a dispute that escalated after a financial disagreement in a local casino. The victim, a 45‑year‑old Goan, was found dead in his bungalow with no obvious cause of death, prompting investigations into possible foul play and the entrepreneur’s alleged involvement in the dispute.
