BJP Demands Probe into Alleged Irregularities in Sanjeevini SHGs in Udupi

The Sanjeevini SHG scheme was launched by the state government to empower rural women by providing them with financial assistance and training in various skills. However, the BJP has alleged that the scheme has been marred by irregularities, including embezzlement of funds and misappropriation of resources.
The party has demanded that the government initiate a high-level probe into the alleged irregularities and take stern action against those found guilty. The BJP has also sought the resignation of the district in-charge minister, who they hold responsible for the alleged irregularities in the scheme.
