Bomb threat email forces Udupi District Court to tighten security

A bomb threat email landed in the inbox of Udupi District Court on Friday, prompting immediate security measures across the courthouse. The message warned of a possible explosive device scheduled to detonate during court hours.
In response, the court’s security and local police conducted a thorough sweep of the premises, evacuated staff and started a temporary closure of the court hall. Court officials also set up additional checkpoints at the entrance and increased CCTV monitoring while conducting an investigation into the source of the email.
