Bomb Threat Email Shakes Udupi District Court, Security Measures Ramped Up

A bomb threat was received through an email addressed to the Udupi District Court on Saturday, causing alarms to sound and prompting an immediate security sweep of the courthouse premises.

In response, court officials, in coordination with local police and the court’s security unit, sealed the building and verified that the email contained no actionable instructions or real threats. The police assured the public that no bomb was detected and the threat was deemed a hoax.
