A bomb threat received via email last week triggered a security scare at the Udupi District Court, forcing officials to evacuate the premises and temporarily halt court proceedings.

The email, sent to the court’s administration office, alleged the presence of a bomb in the courthouse. In response, the Karnataka Police and local security teams conducted a thorough inspection, sealed the building, and implemented a lockdown while forensic teams searched for any suspicious packages.
