Centre Allocates ₹119 Crore for 18 Road Projects in Udupi‑Chikkamagaluru constituency

The Government of India has sanctioned a total of ₹119 crore for the development of 18 road projects across the Udupi‑Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, a move aimed at boosting connectivity and local economies.
The projects span key segments between Udupi town, Kundapura, and Chikmagalur, covering rural stretches that have historically suffered from poor road conditions. The allocation comes after the constituency’s representative, MP Shishupala Karnataka, highlighted the need for better infrastructure in a parliamentary interview earlier this month.
