Conductor Arrested After Falsely Blaming Father in Udupi School Bus Crash

At around 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, a school bus traveling from Udupi to Padubidri collided with a delivery lorry near the Sagara-Bengaluru highway, killing a 6‑year‑old child on board.
Police investigation revealed that the bus’s conductor, who was present at the scene, made a sworn statement alleging the father of the deceased child had been at fault for the accident.
