Congress demands Regional Passport Office in Mangaluru to ease coastal, Malnad applicants' burden

The demand was made by Udupi District Congress Committee President, Ivan D'Souza, who pointed out that the existing passport office in Bengaluru is far from the coastal and Malnad regions, leading to inconvenience and long travel times for applicants.

D'Souza stated that a Regional Passport Office in Mangaluru would not only reduce the burden on applicants but also create employment opportunities and stimulate local economic growth.
