Residents of Udupi have reported an uptick in road mishaps after traffic cones used in construction zones and vehicle blinkers began to show signs of wear and damage. According to the local traffic police, cones with missing or cracked reflective strips fail to guide vehicles properly, while improperly functioning blinkers create confusion for drivers approaching junctions.
