Dead Calf Found in Udupi Animal Hoarder's House; 17 Animals Rescued, PETA Calls for Ban

The seventh sweep of a hidden animal hoarder's house in Udupi district, carried out by the Karnataka state Animal Welfare Board, turned grim when a dead calf was found amidst the broken cages and filthy conditions.

The raid, part of a long-running investigation that uncovered illegal animal keeping, led to the rescue of 17 other animals including goats, sheep and poultry, all of which were taken to a veterinary hospital for treatment.
