Deworming Tablets for 7.8 Lakh Children in Udupi District

The Udupi District Administration has launched a comprehensive deworming program, aiming to administer deworming tablets to over 7.8 lakh children across the district. This initiative is part of the government's efforts to combat parasitic worm infestations and promote better health among the young population.

The deworming program is scheduled to take place in all government and private schools, anganwadis, and other educational institutions in the district. The administration has mobilized a team of medical professionals, including doctors and para-medics, to ensure the smooth execution of the program.
