Dr Sharath K Rao Assumes Office as 8th Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) announced on Monday that Dr Sharath K Rao would assume office as the institution’s eighth vice‑chancellor, effective 1 October 2023.

Dr Rao, a long‑time academic and administrator, previously headed MAHE’s research wing and has been involved in several national policy initiatives that raised the university’s research profile.
