Dr Sharath K Rao Assumes Role as 8th Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy

Dr Sharath K Rao has been appointed as the eighth Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, effective from the beginning of the academic year. The decision follows the end of the tenure of the previous VC, and the appointment was announced by the governing council of the institution.
Dr Rao, a seasoned academic administrator, has previously served as the Dean of the School of Engineering and Research at MAHE, and has led several initiatives to enhance research output and industry collaborations.
