Eight Students Injured as Udupi School Bus Overturns While Reversing

A school bus carrying students from a local primary school in Udupi District overturned while attempting to reverse on a school compound road, leaving eight children with injuries ranging from minor bruises to more serious wounds.

Witnesses report that the bus, operated by a private transport service that supplies vehicles for school commutes, lost balance when it tried to back into a narrow alignment ahead of school gates. Emergency medical staff were dispatched to the site and transported severely injured students to the nearest hospital for treatment.
