Foundation Stone Laid for New Fire Services Station in Manipal

The event drew prominent local leaders, including the Deputy Commissioner, the Principal Chief Secretary of Karnataka, and chiefs of the Manipal Fire Brigade.
With rising population and increasing commercial activity, the new station is expected to enhance emergency response capabilities in the region. Existing firefighting infrastructure, limited in both manpower and equipment, struggled to meet the growing demand for rapid response times, prompting the district administration to invest in a dedicated facility.
