Headmaster Suspended After School Blast Injures Four Students in Udupi

On Wednesday, a blast rocked the campus of Shri Maheshwara High School in Udupi, injuring four students and causing widespread alarm among staff and parents.
The explosion occurred during the lunch break, and an investigation by the district police has yet to identify a clear cause. No weapons were recovered, but authorities suspect an accidental discharge of a homemade device. School officials reported that the building sustained minor structural damage and that emergency services were able to treat the injured students on site.
