Heavy Rain Disrupts Roads, Damages Homes Across Udupi District

Heavy rainfall hit Udupi district overnight, flooding low-lying areas and causing significant damage to residential structures.

Meteorological reports recorded over 150 millimetres of rain in 24 hours, breaking the district’s weekly record and prompting warnings of potential landslides in the inland hills.
