Heavy Rain Lingers, Hitting Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Cascades

Heavy monsoon rains that have been falling over Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts for the past few days are showing no sign of abating, with continuous downpours reported across several talukas.

The India Meteorological Department issued a tropical depression warning for the coastal belt, noting that the rainy season is at its peak and that the catchment areas are likely to experience intense rainfall.
