Heavy rains wreak havoc on Udupi houses and roads

The district of Udupi in Karnataka has been battered by heavy rains that lasted for several days, causing widespread damage to homes and critical infrastructure.

The monsoon brought down 80mm of rain in a single day, leading to widespread flooding in low‑lying areas of Udupi City and surrounding villages.
