Madhuri Sahasrabudhe Inspires Women at Manipal University Jaipur’s Matru Setu Initiative

Former Chief Minister Madhuri Sahasrabudhe addressed an inspiring gathering at Manipal University Jaipur on Monday, unveiling the Matru Setu Women Mentorship Initiative. The event, which attracted students, faculty and local leaders, promised a structured mentorship framework to guide young women toward leadership roles in academia, technology, and public service.

The initiative builds on Manipal’s long‑standing partnership with regional institutes and NGOs, offering hands‑on workshops, one‑on‑one coaching and networking opportunities. Organisers highlighted the need to bridge the gender gap in entrepreneurship and STEM fields, especially in Udupi District, where women’s representation in higher education remains disproportionately low.
