Mahindra Defender to Debut in Udupi Market at ₹1.40 Cr Onwards July 2026

Mahindra will roll out its highly awaited 2026 Defender in the coastal district of Udupi from July, with an on‑road price of ₹1.40 crore, including taxes and registration charges.
The new Defender, a four‑wheel drive capable of handling both city streets and rough terrains, comes equipped with a 3.0‑litre twin‑charged engine, a full‑digital cockpit and a suite of driver‑assist technologies such as active cruise control and rear‑cross traffic alert.
The launch is expected to attract premium buyers in the region, offering an alternative to the already popular Jeep Grand Cherokee and Land Rover Discovery. The vehicle will be sold through Mahindra’s authorized dealerships in Udupi and surrounding districts. Source: Google News – Udupi.
