Mangalore: Notorious Rowdy Arrested for Evading Court Summons

Police in Mangalore apprehended a well‑known rowdy on Saturday night after he repeatedly ignored a court summons for a harassment case. The arrest took place at his residence near Hebri Road.

Identified as 45‑year‑old Suresh Kumar, he had long been linked to violent incidents across Udupi district and had been on a police watch list since early 2024. A sting operation monitored his movements and led to the stop.
