Manipal Health Enterprises Buys Mumbai Land & Hospital for ₹495 Cr

Manipal Health Enterprises, the Bengaluru‑based healthcare conglomerate, has acquired a 1.02‑acre plot in Mumbai's Lower Parel – together with the existing Fortis hospital – in a deal worth ₹495 crore.

The move is part of the group’s strategy to expand its hospital network beyond Karnataka. The property, situated opposite the Bandra–West End corridor, will allow the company to tap into a dense patient base and benefit from future reforms favouring private sector participation.
