Manipal Health Enterprises has been granted clearance from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to proceed with a public issue seeking to raise up to ₹8,000 crore through a fresh equity issuance.
The Bengaluru‑based health conglomerate, which operates a network of hospitals and diagnostic centres across Karnataka, plans to channel the funds into expanding its infrastructure, procuring advanced medical equipment, and potentially venturing into new healthcare domains such as tele‑medicine and elderly care services.
By bringing in fresh capital, the company expects to consolidate its market position and support regional healthcare delivery while also providing investors an opportunity to partake in the growing healthcare sector. Source: Google News – Manipal.
