Manipal Health, a Temasek-backed Indian healthcare chain, has secured approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India to go public, with a planned listing slated for July 2026.
The company, which operates 46 hospitals and numerous diagnostic centres across Karnataka, is set to raise up to ₹30 billion in the IPO, targeting a valuation of about ₹400 billion. Its expansion plan includes adding more specialty hospitals, increasing outpatient services, and entering new markets beyond its current footprint.
For Udupi district, the IPO could mean greater access to advanced medical facilities and a boost to local healthcare infrastructure. Increased capital may enable the launch of new specialty units and enhanced clinical services, potentially improving health outcomes for residents. Source: Google News – Manipal.
