Manipal Health has been granted clearance by the Securities and Exchange Board of India to launch an initial public offering that could raise as much as ₹93 billion (about $1.2 billion). The company has indicated that the listing is slated for late July.
The hospital operator, headquartered in Udupi and operating 27 hospitals across Karnataka, plans to use the proceeds to expand regional facilities, adopt new technologies and invest in a digital health platform.
The move is expected to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in Udupi District, providing more job opportunities and broader access to medical services, while also giving local investors an entity to support. Source: Google News – Manipal.
