Temasek-backed Manipal Health, a digital health platform operating across Karnataka, has secured approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India to conduct an initial public offering. The move comes as the company prepares to tap public markets for capital growth.
Founded in 2019, Manipal Health offers a suite of tele‑medicine, diagnostic and health‑management services, and has secured investments from Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, Temasek, along with other institutional investors. The SEBI clearance requires the company to comply with listing norms, including financial disclosures and corporate governance measures.
With a target listing slated for late July, the IPO is expected to raise up to ₹60 crore, which investors anticipate will fuel expansion of the digital health ecosystem in the region and create employment opportunities. Analysts note that the listing could further consolidate Manipal Health’s position as a leading player in Karnataka’s burgeoning health‑tech sector. Source: Google News – Manipal.
