Manipal Hospital Acid Attack: NCDRC Enhances Compensation to ₹17.21 Lakh

The National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (NCDRC) has delivered a significant judgment in a Manipal Hospital acid attack case. The commission found that the victim, who was attacked with acid at Manipal Hospital, suffered 75% permanent disability. As a result, the NCDRC has enhanced the compensation to ₹17.21 lakh for the victim.
