Manipal Hospitals Acquires Sahyadri Group for INR 6,300 Cr, Strengthening Western India Footprint

In a significant consolidation move, Manipal Hospitals Group has agreed to buy Sahyadri Hospitals for ₹6,300 crore (approximately US$860 million), a deal that will add 13 hospitals in Karnataka and neighboring regions to its portfolio.
Sahyadri Hospitals, headquartered in the Udupi district, specializes in tertiary care and has a strong presence in Western Karnataka, including Mangalore, Udupi, and Panaji. The acquisition is expected to create a synergetic network that expands specialty services, increases bed capacity and enhances patient referral pathways across both groups.
