Temasek-backed Manipal Hospitals Limited (MHL) has obtained SEBI approval to launch an initial public offering (IPO), targeting a July listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange.
The IPO is expected to raise approximately ₹5,500 crore, with shares offered to both institutional and retail investors. The listing will also allow MHL to broaden its network of hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres across Karnataka, including a key facility in Udupi.
Securing SEBI clearance marks a significant milestone for the private‑sector hospital chain and is expected to bolster investment in medical technology, improve patient care standards, and create employment opportunities in the region. Source: Google News – Manipal.
