Manipal Hospitals Group, the flagship medical provider from Udupi district in Karnataka, is reportedly planning a $1 billion initial public offering (IPO) slated for July, according to Indian business media.
The group has expanded through acquisitions, operating over 35 hospitals across India and overseas. The IPO is aimed at raising capital to strengthen infrastructure and enter new markets.
Should the listing be approved, it would rank among the largest healthcare IPOs in India this year, offering investors exposure to the fast‑growing private health sector. Source: Google News – Manipal.
