Moderate rain in Dakshina Kannada; Udupi district enjoys ample showers

Recent meteorological data shows that Dakshina Kannada has experienced moderate rainfall, while the neighbouring Udupi district received generous precipitation across its tehsils.

In Dakshina Kannada, rainfall totals reached around 40 mm, classified as moderate by the Indian Meteorological Department. Udupi district, on the other hand, recorded approximately 80 mm, which is considered good for sustaining groundwater recharge and meeting irrigation demands.
