Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Truck-Bike Collision on NH-66 Near Koteshwar, Kundapur

At approximately 3:45 a.m., a large truck crashed into a motorcyclist’s bike on NH-66 near Koteshwar, causing the rider’s instant death.
The collision happened in the early morning hours on a heavily trafficked stretch of the highway that runs along the coast of Udupi district. According to witnesses, the truck was travelling at a high speed, while the motorcyclist was moving in the rightmost lane. Emergency services were quick to arrive, but the rider could not be revived.
