MP Announces Inauguration of New Kendriya Vidyalaya Building in Udupi

Member of Parliament for Udupi, Sri P. Prabhakar, today announced that the newly constructed Kendriya Vidyalaya building in Udupi district will be inaugurated soon, marking a significant addition to the region’s educational infrastructure.
The state‑owned school, located near the Udupi town centre, is designed to accommodate over 1,200 students and includes modern classrooms, science laboratories, a library and a sports complex. Construction, which commenced in late 2023, aimed to provide a national curriculum to students from the local community and to relieve capacity shortages at existing schools.
As the central government’s flagship institution for Indian children, the new campus is expected to raise academic standards and offer better resources to students.
