Pejawar Seer in Udupi Supports SIT Probe into Ram Mandir Fund Row

The Jagadguru Pejawar Seer, who resides at the Madhvanatha temple in Udupi, publicly welcomed the Special Investigation Team’s inquiry into the finances of the Ram Mandir.

The fund row, which began last year after accusations that money collected from devotees had been misused, led the government to establish a SIT under the Vigilance Commission. The seer said that the probe should clear doubts and restore faith among devotees.

The seer's endorsement is expected to reassure thousands of worshippers who travel to Udupi for darshan and that the temple’s reputation remains intact.
