Police Raid Udupi Court Complex Following Bomb Threat Email

Police in Udupi district sealed off the district court complex after an anonymous email warned of a bomb inside the building. The threat prompted an immediate and coordinated response from the Karnataka State Police and the Crime Branch.
Special investigation teams conducted a sweeping inspection of all court halls, offices and adjoining areas, checking CCTV footage, scanning documents and physically searching for suspicious items. A suspicious plastic bag containing a device was found, burst and safely defused by bomb disposal officers. There were no reports of any bomb detonation or casualties.
