Police Search Udupi Court Complex Following Bomb Threat Email

Udupi police carried out a meticulous sweep of the Udupi Court Complex in the early hours of Tuesday after a bomb threat was received via email.

The email warned of an imminent explosion and prompted the authorities to secure the building, evacuate staff and monitor all entry points in accordance with standard bomb threat protocols.

During the search, no explosives or suspicious packages were discovered and the threat was later identified as a hoax. The incident temporarily halted court proceedings, but all legal activities resumed after the building was declared safe. Investigators are looking into the source of the email to prevent future threats.
