Pulse Polio Drive reaches 199,000 children in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi

On Thursday, a nationwide Pulse Polio Drive reached nearly 199,000 children in the Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi districts of Karnataka.

The drive targeted children aged six months to five years, a key group for preventing polio transmission. Health officials coordinated with local health centres and mobile teams to administer the oral polio vaccine across schools and community hubs.
