Repeat Offenders Banned from Udupi District

The Karnataka State Police have issued an order to remove a group of repeat offenders from the Udupi district, citing repeated violations of the law and the need to safeguard local residents. The banishment includes 12 individuals known for drug trafficking, assault, and property offences.

This decision follows a series of violent incidents that prompted the district administration to intensify law‑enforcement measures. Police records reveal that the offenders had been arrested multiple times for the same crimes; despite being released due to technicalities, they re‑engaged in criminal conduct, prompting the ban.
