School Bus Overturns in Udupi, Eight Students Injured During Reversing Maneuver

A transport incident on Saturday morning saw a school bus overturn in the Udupi district of Karnataka, resulting in injuries to eight students. The bus was reportedly reversing on a narrow roadway when the accident occurred.

Witnesses reported that the bus was attempting to back into a parking space near the Udupi Government School, when it lost control and toppled onto its side. No driver was among the injured. The students were taken to the Jayanagar Hospital for treatment of bruises and minor fractures.
