School Bus Regains Control After Skidding into Divider on Manipal Road – Accident Averted

On Monday evening, a school bus carrying 30 students from a local government school on NH 67 in Manipal suddenly lost traction and spun toward the roadside divider. The driver was able to regain control before the vehicle crossed the median.

Traffic authorities reported that the bus had been traveling at a speed considered safe for the wet conditions on the highway, but a patch of oil and wet pavement likely caused the skid. Emergency services arrived within minutes, and the bus was brought to a stop without further incident.
