Seven Children Hurt When School Bus Overturns into Ditch Near Manipal

On Wednesday afternoon, a school bus derailed and plunged into a roadside ditch near Manipal, injuring seven children.

The bus was traveling on the main road between Udupi and Manipal, with students en route to a local school. According to a local police report, a sudden steering malfunction caused the overturn, prompting immediate rescue efforts by on‑site teachers and nearby residents.
